Taylor’s story
“Before working with Alia, I had always struggled with my image, balance, anxiety and weight. I had never really had professional guidance on properly balancing meals or fitness. Anxiety definitely controlled a big part of my life and that included my eating habits. I would eat healthily one week, the next I’d let it go, then the week after it was take out all week etc. After trying multiple times on my own to take off the extra weight I contacted Alia to help me out, and I received so much more than just weight loss.
“The process I thought and knew would be slow, and I was ready for that. I was shocked at my first check in that my body was actually changing. One of the first things I noticed with changing my diet was that my anxiety had subsided significantly. The stomach knots, the stress, the constant self doubt all started to disappear within weeks of my program. Weight loss became the second goal, the structure Alia provided me with had pointed me in the direction of something I had neglected for a long time. SELF CARE. The physique changes were just an added bonus to resetting myself entirely.
“I’m currently in a place where I feel confident and strong. I feel like every day I wake up with an “I can do this attitude”, every day I am chiseling away at what I thought at one point would be impossible. Baby steps to start and those goals that seemed so far away just kept getting closer and closer. Coming from a place where I felt so stuck, I’m so excited to finally be in a position where I feel like I can be my best self and feel positive about my choices without guilt. Balance is 100% possible and achievable with consistency and mindfulness. It doesn’t end here though, this is me renewing a commitment to myself.”
